Appearance; Brooke isn't the type of wolf that will catch your eye. While she is unique, as is every creature on the island, she's hard to spot. Moving around in the shelter of the night makes her blend in with her surroundings, as she is a wolf with afflicted with melanism (the opposite of albinism; aka, her fur is all black instead of all white). If you're lucky enough to get close to her, the first thing that you'll notice are her bright red eyes. But if the unusual coloration doesn't surprise you, then the fact that she has no pupils will. She is not blind, contrary to popular belief, but it certainly gives her a haunting, horrific look.
The second thing you'll notice are the black, scaly wings protruding from her back. While folded, they are as black as her fur and difficult to see, but unfurled, they're as red as her eyes. They are approximately half the size of her body, which is lithe and fit, and allow her to take flight where there are large gales and updrafts.
Perhaps the only other oddities about this girl are her claws and mane, and jaw. The claws are, once again, red as her eyes, and the fur along her head and neck is slightly thicker than at the rest of her body, making her appear larger than she is. Her jaws are slightly longer than some of her wolf counterparts - a trait extremely hard to notice unless you count all of her teeth. She has four extra on four extra on each side of her mouth: two on top and two on the bottom. This makes tearing up prey, and enemies, an easy task for Brooke. All and all, she's a truly intimidating sight to behold.

Personality; Brooke is not your typical young adult, in which she tends to be bitter...a lot. She clings onto anger easily, and can hold grudges for long periods of time. Others tend to stay away from her, which she doesn't mind, for too much company tends to annoy this fiery dog. At times, Brooke could care less about the state of the world, and feels little to no remorse for life itself. She has few qualms with hurting others, though it tends to drain her emotionally if she thinks too hard about it.
By contrast, Brooke also gets very lonely from time to time, and wants to approach others, but does not have the best social skills and often finds herself struggling to relate if she manages to actually speak her mind. That said, despite all of her negativity, Brooke can actually be a wolf with morals, and even friendly, if one can manage to not get on her nerves... which, I might add, is a nearly impossible challenge. Just standing next to her is like waiting for a time bomb to explode in your face. Despite the fact that Brooke is snappy and irritable, she sympathies with those that are struggling, she just, unfortunately, cannot express that in a... nice way (to elaborate a bit: her advice may seem harsh when she feels kind enough to give it out, however, she only means the best for that person. Her blunt statements often give people the wrong idea).
Brooke can be dangerous in a few ways, but the most prominent one is her tendency to gravitate towards being physically violent. While she'll rarely hurt someone badly, when she gets angry, she's one of those girls that doesn't have any issues with leaving a bruise or three on you. And believe me, she packs quite the bite. Her constant anger seems to only be quelled by one-upping others, and to her, that's putting out a beating. She demands respect at all times and will not tolerate it if someone looks down on her.
Her mentality is almost militaristic in a sense. She believes that only the strongest survive and that death is a natural part of life. For this reason, she had little remorse for her enemies. However, those she cares for will not go unprotected. She will jump into harm's way for one of her pack without hesitation. She carries herself proudly during a fight and does not back away from challenges. She is stubborn, and hates to lose.
And the one thing no one expects: Brooke, while seemingly unbreakable, actually has a very deep running fear of becoming weakened: physically, mentally, and or emotionally. It's the main reason behind her antagonistic behaviors. Her own weakness is unforgivable and a way for her to get hurt - and let's just say she's already been hurt one too many times to let it happen again so easily.
Brooke is quite set in her ways. She likes to believe what she knows from personal experience unless someone can prove that she's wrong. This is not limited to anything, including her own experience with love and friendship. It often gives people the idea that she's very cynical and pessimistic, and that's honestly not far from the truth. She's also quite judgmental, and quick to jump to conclusions - but because of her stubbornness, she rarely will apologize for things she says.
In reality her capacity to love is great. She is fiercely loyal, protective, and supportive to the few close friends she has. Of course, Brooke would never admit aloud just how much she cares for someone, but she has always been a wolf of action more than of words.

P.S; I was hoping to audition for the alpha of The Mafia with this fine girl. I'd also like to say that the reason i gave her Necromancy is that she is modeled after the European legend of Barghest, who is, in a sense, like the grim reaper. I thought it would be clever to give her a power related to death for this reason. Lastly, I drew the picture myself so no credit is needed~
