Tick Tock. Such a shame. A shame it really was. Why did such beauty always have to die? The plants that he kept back at his home were slowly wasting away. Sure they always had a fresh supply of water from the falls but that wasn't enough for the flowers that he found oh-so-beautiful. He absolutely had to have them at his home or he would be most unhappy. He would have to hurry though, it was almost sunhigh and he wanted to have at least one flower before the sun was at its highest point and when the sun was past its highest he needed two. His plan had to go perfectly or he would be displeased.
Tick Tock. Ah, here was the first tree he would search. The gray wolf's ears twitched continually back and forth as the sound of tweeting birds, buzzing bees, and the tree itself reached his mad ears. He gave a bright chuckle and started to shimmy up its trunk. "Oh yes yes! Clockwerk knows you have pretty pretty flowers up there! Oh yes yes! He shall find them and take them back home!"
Tick Tock. Tick Tock. Finally he reached a branch on the tree and went out to it. He stood for a moment searching for the a pink flower. It absolutely had to be pink, not a blue one. He saw a couple of blues but no pink. He gave a wild twitch and glanced up at the sky, the sun was just a smidgen from its zenith. Frantically the gray wolf looked around the tree and finally his wild eyes landed upon the form of a beautiful pink flower but it was on a higher branch, he wouldn't make it in time before it was sunhigh. So he did the only logical thing that he could. A turquoise mist formed around him and time was successfully frozen until he could climb higher and grab the pink flower. Now the mist dissipated and he lowered himself back down and grabbed a blue flower. Perfect!
Tick Tock. Two today. Two tomorrow. That was his plan so for now he could relax on the branch of the tree. His tail wagged happily as the flowers sat between his forelegs. "Oh yes yes! Clockwerk did it! But it will be the same time tomorrow and the same colors tomorrow. Pink blue pink blue! Oh yes yes!" He looked up at the weeping tree and gave it a bright smile as if it approved of his idea. "Oh yes yes, Mr. Tree, I use the flowers for water! Tastes most sweet, yes yes. Clockwerk enjoys it a lot!" His bright eyes looked around and his ears still twitched erratically. They were far from his control as was the clock in his head that had been subdued to a manageable tocking, for now. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
