A GUIDE TO POWERS! Here is a lost of all the available powers here on GP. If you have a power in mind, but don't see it on the list, feel free to PM an admin to suggest it and ask for permission. If you see an asterisk (*) next to it has to be approved by an admin if you want your wolf to have that power. In order to do this, PM either Succubus or Incubus. Each character is allowed EITHER one mental power OR one physical power. More powers have to be bought. You may also create a natural character without mutations or powers with an admin's permission.
Also please consider how long it takes to develope these powers- Your character cannnot have full control over his/her power unless the age is appropriate. They will be bound to struggle and fail- Everything comes in time.
PHYSICAL POWERS! duplication - - This power allows the user to make duplicates of itself or another thing. This can be useful in battle to help aid in distraction while you can sneak around and attack as needed. Once a duplicate is touch though by a living creature then it evaporates.
pheromone manipulation - - This power is quite unique and can be quite useful. This allows the user to control others pheromones to change the way another feels whether it be happy, sad, depressed, angry, etc. This can also help in seducing another for sexual play.
plant communication - - This allows the user to communicate with all plant life, which can be useful when in battle with another. The plants would be able to tell you what to expect the other to do. The user cannot actually control what the plants actually do, the plants will act of their own understanding of a situation.
heat vision - - This allows the user to see heat waves, much like 'night-vision' cameras. Figures and silhouettes can be view either as they are, or sploitches of colors representing concentrated amounts of heat. The user has the ability to toggle this as they see fit.
heightened strength - - Allows the user to increase their strength greatly for short amounts of time. Generally during an adrenaline rush is most common for wolves of this power to use it. Although in order to be able to use this power they must weaken at least one, if not two, of their other senses such as smell or sight.
simple healing - - This power allows the user to heal minor injuries such as: bruises, coughs, strained muscles, small open wounds, sprains, cuts and scrapes, and the likes. The power does not allow for the wolf to heal anything worse than broken bones though and does take a fair amount of energy.
teleportation - - Teleportation doesn't allow it's user to transport him or herself over long distances. The power may only allow for the user to teleport up to 15 or 20 feet. With many years of practice though he or she could teleport numerous times in a row. Although only with practice and experience.
*enhanced hearing - - Allows the user to hear everything happening within a three mile radius of themselves.
tracking -- Ability to track something of great desire to the user. The only way for this power to work though is for the user to completely with all their heart desire the wolf or object they wish to track down. It's very much like a mental tug toward the desired object and most don't ever notice they are doing it.
camouflage - - Allows the wielder of this ability to hide themselves in their surrounds, almost like invisibility This doesn't always mean the user will not be spotted, but they have a far less chance of being seen. This power is detectable by users with enhanced vision.
echolocation - - Like bats or dolphins this power allows the user to send out a high pitched sound that then gives them a vivid mental picture of the land around them. Come in handy at night
levitation - - This ability allows the user to levitate several feet above the ground. It does take a smaller amount of energy, but depending on how high or for how long the power is used could drain the user slower or faster.
merging - - Merging allows a wolf to place their mind into the body of another animal, essentially creating a body with two minds and leaving their own body as an empty shell. The users of this power can, and typically, read the thoughts of the host body while they occupy it. Though they don't simply get rid of the host mind completely. If the wolf or animal inhabited is strong enough mentally they can push the user from their body.
phasing - - Almost like ghost this power allows its user to phase through solid objects. It can take almost a full lifetime to master this power, although it is worth it in the end. Most wolves can only use this power for one minute at the most. If the user runs out of energy or gets stuck trying to get through something it could result in losing their limbs or any other external or internal body parts. This is a very dangerous power that can result in ugly deaths.
*longevity - - The user of this power may never know they have it. It allows them to live longer than any other of their friends and family, and only once family members and friends start to grow old and die will this user notice they might have a gift after all. It also stops their aging process until a few days until their death when time catches up to them.
*biological manipulation - - This will allow the user to take control of all aspects of a living creature’s biological makeup. This can include generic alterations, physical distortion, healing, diseases and biological functions. It does take a great deal of energy from the wolf using the power, though if not used properly with enough practice it could kill the user.
*necromancy - - A dark magic, but also a respected magic. These wolves can communicate with the dead and wandering spirits. They can summon anyone from the past they please, although they cannot force the spirit to stay and they can leave if they wish to at anytime. The power also allows the user to go beyond what was ever thinkable and resurrect the dead, although no one has yet to try.
*full healing - - Typically a power used by priest and healers of a pack, with a power like this the user can heal any wound or illness. The powers only limit is that the user cannot bring back the dead. With the one exception of if they get to the body within five minutes of the users death they can reattach the soul. Putting a soul back into its body is a costly thing though and often, if done to often, will start to drive the user into a black madness.
MENTAL POWERS! morphing - - This is the ability to morph their appearances to match what others may be doing in other places around them. This ability can take quite a bit of energy from the user so it is recommended for those who are strong enough to wield it.
energy conversion - - Ability to absorb one being’s energy and converting it into another form of energy whether it is giving another user the energy or even using the energy for one’s self.
empathy - - With this, it allows the user to read and/or sense another wolf's emotions or feelings and it can sometimes allow you to control the mood.
magic tears - - This allows the user to heal moderate wound on their own body, as well as allow them to see the souls of innocent beings. This is especially useful to those being punished for things that they did not do, allowing them to be free.
dream walking - - This allows the user to infiltrate the mind of another character. This power is limited to characters mainly when they are sleeping, though if strong enough, it can happen while awake. The user concentrates their energy and basically connects themselves to another wolf’s mind. The user’s conscious is placed inside the dream world of the other character’s mind. While in this trance, they cannot be snapped out of it. Doing so will kill them. The only way to be released from this trance is for the other to wake up and release the Dreamwalker's conscious. If the walker needs to leave before completion, they will alter the happenings of the dream itself to make it so the Dreamer wakes up. Think of how you feel when you dream of falling, you jump and often wake.
sprite - - The user is able to manifest either good or bad energy in form of a hot, glowing streak of light or orb. Depending on what light source it is will depend on if it’s good or bad. The light or orb of power and energy created will only be able to render a wolf and not completely injure them unless the user is able to take almost all their passion and energy into creating a super charged orb. Using they kind of power though will leave them completely drained and most likely blacked out.
illusion - - Allows its user to create illusions and mind tricks to mess with another wolf's image. With enough practice and experience a wolf could change the whole area around a wolf through butting a new image into their minds of what the land looks like.
force field - - Often a clear and invisible shield to everyone but the user. These who have the ability to create force fields can shield themselves and even anyone who stands close enough to them. With enough practice they can even move the shields away from their body to several feet away.
telekinesis - - This power allows for the user to move objects with their mind. Eventually with enough practice they could move larger objects, but with litter experience and little practice small stones and plants or any other small objects are all that can be moved. The users of this power also cannot make an object change it original shape, although they can do something to it to make it change like hit it with stones or against a tree.
apathy - - The opposite of empathy, allows the user to "turn off" his or her own emotions. Their emotions don't truly disappear or turn off but the user can block a certain feeling such as fear or love if they please to.
*possession - - These wolves have the power to posses objects, animals, and even wolves. Though the power is hard to control, and takes a lot of practice a skilled wolf could possible be able to completely control another wolf. Although the user must also make sure their target is mentally strained and isn't able to kick them from their body. While in control of another wolf they are also still in their own body, it's a much more advanced type of compulsion and compelling.
*time manipulation - - Able to control the time. Travel through it, stop it, fast forward it, anything one can think about. Although wolves with this power must be careful when using it as they could destroy many good things, even entire packs with this power.
*prophecy - - Not able to decide when they get visions or glimpse of the future, these wolves are subject to their power and are often held on high if they are within a pack. Visions could come at anytime and in any place, and be about anything. They don't have to pertain to the user or even the users pack.
*mind reading - - Allows the user to read the thoughts of any wolf they are around. Actually they really can't help it. the power is typically not able to be controlled and just always happens, filling the users head with the thoughts of all those around them. Though wolves who practice can tone out or dull down the voices or completely shut out the voices with the right amount of practice.
*compulsion - - Ability to get others to do their own dirty will. Wolves with the power often can manipulate others to do anything they want them to do. Depending on the mental power of the other wolf who is being compelled they can notice the compulsion, although might not be able to do anything about it.
