just like the crow chasing the butterfly,, Arvoxses was a beautiful place, full of wonders and terrors all together. And that was what made it so perfect. There was that balance of good and bad out there, that balance of ugly and beauty. Arvoxses captured it perfectly, it truly did. There was nothing simply as flawless as this land, except of course, him.
The Oakwood Forest was an extrordinary place, that literally glowed. It's vibrant colors would penetrate any darkness that dare try to claim the forest, and that made it all the more appealing. It held a power over darkness, and could literally abolish it here. It could completely rid itself of shadow. If only it were so easy, Remus thought to himself. However, he was one of the few to embrace the shadow that consumed him so selfishly. And like the 'selfless' man he was, he let it. For his good, or it's; He didn't care to know.
Large, fatal ivory claws left indentations in the soft ground, and powerful legs carried the male with a unseen sense grace. It would not be expcected of him, seeing as his size was one of great mass. However, he did well to prove anyone wrong. It was what the alpha was known for; Surprising others.
Remus found himself attracted to a particulary large willow tree, it's branc hes a vibrant green and pink. He stood below it, looking up, watching it with concenntrated eyes. How in the worlds did something as small as acid rain cause this?

A blessed forest was probably the last place one would think to find a strange creature like Tsorne. He was a wolf more suited to night than day and now as he trod silently around the willow trees, with his head raised with confidence, it showed. He was a force to be reckoned with, he was the ruler of night. At least he was while the fearful prey lay hiding from him. He could see their body heat as they hid in their burrows, his primary eyes blinked and his tongue ran over his fangs hungrily. He had been in this area too long and now the prey knew to avoid going too far from their nests at night. He felt annoyed with himself, the reason he had even stayed so long was that this place provided him relatively easy access to a pack's territory. He didn't know the packs name but he did know that interested him for some strange reason, his family would probably laugh at him if they knew he was thinking about such a momentous action. Perhaps he was being silly but he couldn't shake the notion from his mind.
He sighed and continued his walk forward. The moon shone scant light down on him as his markings glowed faintly. Both provided him with the adequate light he needed to see in the dark landscape, he even felt well enough to close his secondary eyes. Hell, if he needed to he could close his primary eyes and navigate with nothing but echolocation and his feelers. Natural selection had been kind to his night-loving family. So, what he did was close both sets of eyes and navigated as he would during the day. He sent off a few clicks from his mouth and soon received images back from the upcoming terrain. He was expecting nothing but trees and other such plants but what he got was another wolf. His four eyes snapped open and he could clearly see the white wolf and the warm-blood that rushed inside of his body.
Tsorne could feel his fur raise defensively and considered turning away to find some other place to walk. He wasn't afraid, he was just antisocial and didn't particularly feel like talking. Especially to some wolf that he'd never met before --not that he'd ever talked to any wolf beyond his family-- who could be a talkative annoyance. A gust of wind changed his mind as it brought the wolf's scent to him. The scent of the very pack that he had been watching. Indecision struck him as he stood watching the other male. Finally he decided to take the initiative and approach the other, if he decided against joining he could always just run away. His speed was rivaled by few.
His silent paws brought the ebony wolf closer and once within a few feet he trod on a stick and intentionally snapped it, all too aware that he was as quiet as a ghost when walking. Tsorne said nothing but simply raised his own eyes to the bright tree, feigning admiration for the light object. He had been entranced with the beautiful thing when he'd first come here but now it was just an everyday part of life.

just like the crow chasing the butterfly,, The admiration was short lived, when Remus not only felt someone there, but heard them as well. As a small branch snapped under the weight of someone, something, his head snapped around and gazed at the wolf now before him. He was a... Well, he was a beautiful creature, deformations abundant on his skin. Remus was gazing into not two eyes, but four- The wolf also had strange markings decorating his body, as well as long fangs. The gods have gifted him- Yes, they really had. Remus, he wasn't quite as decorative; His pelt was solely white, pure. His eyes, however, were black as coal, pupiless and well, intriguing.
Remus turned his body to the male, and dipped his head slightly, showing some respect; Though it should have been him on his knee's before the Renegade's Alpha. Remus let it pass for now, however, curious as to why this male was here, interupting the peace that Remus rarely got to aquaint himself with.
Salutations, Remus tried, his voice low and heavy. It has that raspy sound, that tells you the hardships Remus had overcome. He didn't exactly know where to go from here, however, for this male had made no sound. He had made an effort to be noticed, however, and that was relevant in some way. Might I ask, is there something you need?
Remus asked, his pride shown in his tall posture. Perhaps, he was a recruit. That was an idea, it really was. Remus decided, he would make an effort to expand, here and now. A smirk was played onto his dark lips, and he showed off a toothy smile. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Tsorne watched silently as the other wolf dipped its head in a respectful gesture. He did nothing of the kind until the other gave a welcome at which he nodded his own head in a politely respectful "hello". After which he was at a loss for words. His mind knew what he wanted to ask but he lacked the social skill and know-how to pose the question. His years of solitude and silence with his parents had left him somewhat incapable of classical conversation and words. However, the other left him a perfect opportunity to say what he needed to.
"Yes..."
He began but his words trailed off as he searched for more to say. He didn't want to sound like a grovelling pup --gods forbid-- no, he just wanted to sound inquisitive and question the white wolf about the pack. "You are from the pack by the shores and cliffs." The sentence was supposed to be a question but it was posed as a statement simply for the fact that Tsorne knew the white wolf was from the shore-pack or at least he'd been there recently. Now it was time for the black wolf to ask what he wanted. "Are you seeking members?" What was a normal inquiry sounded like a whining request to the roving male. He was unused to asking for anything and to do so now felt odd even when he so wanted for something more which a pack could provide. The black wolf's secondary eyes closed so that he could see the other wolf better. His black and red eyes were better used for finding the locations of things, not for seeing details of another's design. He was slightly shocked to see that the male before him was severely lacking in any sort of mutations. Tsorne had never come across a wolf without any mutations and to do so now was extremely weird to him but nonetheless the stark white coat was different since he and his family had all been very darkly colored. The coal black eyes were interesting to say the least, they contrasted as sharply to the male's coat as his own fur did. Interesting indeed. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

just like the crow chasing the butterfly,, After what seemed like, perhaps hesitation, the male before Remus gave a respectful nod. Remus eyed him for a moment, and raised a brow, questioning the small gesture. He ignored it. though, when he spoke up. First, he replied with a single word, which would normally irrtated Remus. He deserved far more than that- However, it wasn't to fast before he spoke even more, pleasing the alpha in a weird extent. He smiled when he heard the questions, posed as statements, being presented before him. Yes- I am pleased to inform you I am indeed the alpha who claims the shores. There lay the Vengeance Renegade-
Remus cooed, his words all slurring together into an appealing noise called his voice. Remus smirked when the wolf asked of members, and he nodded slowly. Why, yes. I am always on the search for more, Remus purred, taking a step forward to show off his proud chest. He lifted his head just a little higher, another gloat of his. His ears were high, at attention, anxious to see where this would go. He wasn't even aware at this point of his surroundings. He payed no attention the glowing plants; To the colors bouncing off his coat. He was oblivious, except for this male, who wanted in. And Remus would be... Well, somewhat welcoming. You want in, yes? It was barely a question. More implied that he would need to prove himself. Can you give me... A good reason why you should be accepted into this pack? Remus asked, now a little hostile. This was his moment of glory, the male before him. Would he be worthy? [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

It seemed as if this wolf had an inflated ego with all of his smirking and smoothly spoken words. When his lofty title was spoken though Tsorne knew why he was such a proud thing. An alpha? Should he be showing more respect than he was currently giving? Perhaps. He made a mental check for the position of his tail which was appropriately lowered behind him. He also made sure not to puff his own chest out or stand any taller than he already was.
He couldn't believe his luck though, here was the alpha of the very pack he'd been watching. They were apparently called Vengeance Renegade, he rather liked the title since he thought it fit him. The pack was even accepting members which was perfect.
You want in, yes? No words passed from the dark male's lips but he gave an eager nod. His white eyes glittered with barely concealed excitement but he blinked and it all disappeared as he regained control of himself. He replaced his outward excitement with a coolness that he'd learned to cultivate over his few years of living. He could feel his excitement fluttering around in his belly but he would no longer allow himself to outwardly show his eagerness.
However, he knew not why the other wolf should let him in. To him it was a strange question that he'd never been asked but if he wanted to be accepted into this Vengeance Renegade pack then he would surely have to answer it. He blinked slowly once more and opened his mouth to answer with what he could think of, "I would be an asset to your pack because I am quick... and silent..." To him this was a challenge because of the way this male had posed the question... it was a challenge that he wasn't willing to lose. After a mere moment of pause he continued on. "And I can be loyal... to you... and the pack." His eyes briefly roved up to the charcoal ones of the white wolf but he lowered them once more not wanting to indirectly challenge the one he wanted to be his alpha.
"Words!" Thoughts.

just like the crow chasing the butterfly,, Remus noticed more respectful qualities of those wolf as he noted who Remus was. That was something he would easily accept into his packlands; He knew his place. That was rare, for wolves these day. Some had bigger ego's then his own! Remus, though, took pride in more humble things, were they comparing.
Remus listened to the males words intently, seeing if he spoke truth or not. That was a special trait of Remus; He just knew if someone was lying through their teeth. This ornamented wolf, however, seemed sincere in his words. Remus enjoyed nothing more than an honest man. Honesty was the way into Remus's trust; To an extent, that is.
Can you tell me, how will I know that you will be loyal? You must understand, the punishment for any disloyalty or disobidiene can very well result in your death. Remus slurred, raising his eyebrows. Questioning him, it seemed, was a good way to get out any... Well, flaws. Vulnerabilities.

Tsorne waited for the white wolf's verdict with all the patience of his persona, which was a lot. His eyes were carefully averted but his ears were trained intently on the one in front of him so as not to miss a word. The words when they came out weren't truly expected but Tsorne wasn't sure what to expect. The man's slurred words were something that he wasn't how to reply back to again. So, he decided that honesty was the best policy. He did want to make a good impression on this ivory wolf if he were to serve under him.
"I am... not one to break ranks. I will serve the needs of you... and the pack without complaint... or thoughts of leaving... Or else I would not have sought you out... for I knew you were of a pack." He hoped the answer was to the male's liking since it was him speaking truthfully. If he wasn't going to be loyal why would have bother putting his neck on the line for the sake of joining? It almost hurt his pride to be asked such a question. Here he was coming from a rather independent family that relied on no one but themselves and here he was having his loyalty questioned. Perhaps all pack alphas questioned new members this way, after all, some wolves were probably dishonest and would need to be questioned multiple times to get the truth out.
"Words!" Thoughts.

Mionta looked around the forest; the beauty of it all concealed the darkness and the untapped power that the forest and its inhabitants held. Mionta got up from her resting place from beneath a particularly stunning tree with florescent blue leaves, and started to lope in no particular direction, her paws carried her gracefully an silently through the foliage letting the shadows take her. It seemed like everything she did lately was without point or direction, the solitary life style that she lead had long grown stale and she yearned for company. Mionta traveled deeper into the forest she admired the different colours that shone from each of the plants, a constant reminder of what the humans had done to this place. She felt the different energies of the plants and other life calling out to her, Mionta had to keep her power in check or she would start to drain the energy from the forest around her. As Mionta basked in the different energies they started to overwhelm her, so she started to focus on particular life forces instead of the entire forest. Then she felt a shift in the balance, there was two particularly strong energies close together. Mionta moved closer to them slowly, She came upon two male wolves, one wolf was pitch black with an array of mutations which glowed and two sets of eyes, and one was pure white with onyx eyes. The White wolf was larger than the other wolf and his energy was very strong and dominating, so strong Mionta could almost see it radiating from him. The other wolf’s energy was more reserved and submissive but still had deep power behind it.
Mionta restrained herself from going any closer to the pair, they both seemed so strong, she know she could outrun if need be, but she could not face up them in a fight, she would surely lose. Instead she stayed in the shadows and under foliage watching them talk, waiting to see if they would sense her presence in a forest so full of life.
